Welcome to the 17th IRIS taking place in Halifax, Canada from July 21-26, 2024.
This symposium is held every 2-3 years and is the premier international showcase for Main Group Chemistry, including Organometallic Chemistry and Inorganic Materials Chemistry. While the name implies a focus on inorganic rings, the symposium has evolved to feature the full structural and electronic diversity of the field.
This is the third IRIS meeting to be hosted in Canada and we expect 150-200 researchers including world leading professors, postdoctoral fellows and research students from around the world.
This year IRIS is occurring in parallel and on the same sit as the Canadian Symposium on Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CSTCC), offering an unparallelled chance to experience the best of global theoretical and main group chemistry in one place.
